Step in and strap up, this year's Tony Award nominations list is a wild ride of drag queen accessoried splendor! The pop icon and LGBT advocate unleashed on Donald Trump (her former Celebrity Apprentice boss) in an interview with Next Magazine, chastising him for his anti-gay views and what she considers to be racist "sh*t-stirring."

Cyndi Lauper continues to show her true colors, this time in a Rolling Stone editorial in which she implores Congress to get it together as we go barreling towards the "fiscal cliff."

Instinct cover guy, Adam Lambert joined iconic diva, Cyndi Lauper for a duet performance of Tears for Fears' "Mad World," per La Lauper's request at Sunday's second annual "Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays." The event brings awareness to LGBT homeless youth. 

Adam killed "Mad World" on American Idol back in the day, so we knew we were in for a treat, but there's something even more special about watching him keep it together while he's clearly stanning out over performing a duet with Cyndi!

Today, the lovely Cyndi Lauper showed her "true colors" (sorry!), when she visited Capitol Hill to speak on behalf of homeless LGBT youth and advocate for programs that provide needed housing and support services.

Cyndi Lauper is certainly earning her special honor from the Department of Health and Human Services (which she'll be presented with on May 9); while in D.C., Lauper plans to lobby President Obama and members of Congress on behalf of homeless LGBT youth.
