Former folk artist Michelle Shocked is really testing the limits of her last name. The disgraced singer/songwriter erected a one-person protest at one of the many U.S. venues that canceled an appearance after her now infamous anti-gay rant.

Mark Regnerus, the infamous University of Texas researcher responsible for the notoriously flawed study on same-sex parenting, isn't softening his fight against same-sex parents after a year of ridicule.

Failed presidential candidate Rick Santorum wants you to know that no amount of Republican flip-flopping like that experienced by Sen. Rob Portman will inspire him to be a better man. Unlike other key figures in his party, Ricky boy is holding on tight to his antiquated view that marriage equality is the work of the devil.

Or something. 

They grow a mutated bread of nutjob in Minnesota, or at least it appears that way after Mike Frey made his case against marriage equality today.

Pastor Robert Jeffress has denied basing sermons around Westboro Baptist Church picket signs in an interview on the Alan Colmes Show. The controversial pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas has many years of offensive anti-gay and anti-Semitic material under his belt (that probably caused Tim Tebow to distance himself from the church), but is flat out denying it, even when faced with his own quotes verbatim.

The National Organization for Marriage's rally against marriage equality at the Supreme Court next month just gained unsurprising bedfellows. Hate group leader Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council has put his homophobic organization's weight into the rally, while Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput has pledged buses to transport bigots to hold signs that trash talk civil rights. 

The National Organization's sugar daddy has really come through this time as the anti-gay group announces a $500,000 donation that will go to its hate fest in front of the Supreme Court next month. 

The game of catfish got even creepier (if that was even possible) over the weekend when it was discovered that 30-year old Zachary Reeder, a teacher at Servite Catholic High School in Orange, California, had allegedly been posing as a teen girl to get nude pics out of his male students.
