Let's not beat around the bush: Facebook continues to share a double-sided-standard with conservative groups, as evident in the social network behemoth's latest anti-male/anti-gay suspension. 

Is YouTube exhibiting a double-standard? Moderators at the Google-owned website have deemed an intimate (but clothed!) embrace between quirky singer-songwriter Perfume Genius and hunky adult star Arpad Miklos "too adult in nature" to post. The Atlantic Wire reports that the man who started the Facebook gay-kiss deletion controversy, Richard Metzger is not satisfied with the response from Facebook. Metzger says:

"It's just generic PR speak that doesn't even refer to a gay kiss," he says. "The real problem here is certainly not that Facebook is a homophobic company. It's that their terrible corporate policy on censorship needs to stop siding with the idiots, the complainers and the least-enlightened and evolved amongst us."

A new video featuring slowed-down scenes from "Till The World Ends" claims to reveal that Britney utilized a body double during filming (and not a very convincing one, at that, if the clips from this "expose" are true). Earlier this month two men were arrested for alleged public indecency in a gay-populated London gym. The arrest highlights a larger issue that has existed in tandem with queer culture for eons: public sex. 

Whenever people gyrate for a cause we tend to look the other way -- unless those people are Chip Tanner and Reese Rideout, porn-stars, gymnasts, strippers and now, newly-christened gender equality activists. Not that we noticed or anything, but YouTube takes part in the double-standard of man skin vs. woman skin that has plagued American media for decades. Having had enough of their g-rated but carnal videos deleted from YouTube while similar videos depicting women in states of undress remain live, the two gay porn favorites have vowed to continue (what they call) dancing until the evil double-sided standard is eviscerated and equality achieved.
