International superstar model Andrej Pejic has seen the fire of fame burn bright due to his exceptional, beautiful androgyny. But his latest magazine cover for Dossier might be too androgynous for massive book retailer Barnes & Noble, which refuses to sell the issue without plastic film censoring his shirtless body. The Atlantic Wire reports that the man who started the Facebook gay-kiss deletion controversy, Richard Metzger is not satisfied with the response from Facebook. Metzger says:
"It's just generic PR speak that doesn't even refer to a gay kiss," he says. "The real problem here is certainly not that Facebook is a homophobic company. It's that their terrible corporate policy on censorship needs to stop siding with the idiots, the complainers and the least-enlightened and evolved amongst us."
Weigh in, do you think that Facebook's response wasn't good enough?

Interestingly enough, more women found heterosexual infidelity to be more palatable: 28% of women in the study would be OK with their man cheating on them with another woman.

Tags: apple, censorship, oscar wilde, double standards Update:
We just got off the phone with a representative from Apple who called the situation a “complete mistake.” After Instinct brought this to the company's attention, Apple called the developers of the Ulysess and The Importance of Being Earnest apps and offered them the opportunity to resubmit their drawings and update their original apps. It wasn’t a choice in censoring gay material over straight. “We appreciated your call this morning and we made a mistake and we’re offering the developers the opportunity to resubmit their drawings."
Apple's jaw-dropping censorship is nothing new, but a recent example of censorship double-standards by the tech-giant has no logical basis, leaving many to suspect homophobia going on behind... FULL STORY
