The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck is opening hearts (and mouths) one chocolate bacon ice cream sandwich at a time. Launched in summer by boyfriends Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff, the very visible food truck has already taken the Big Gay Apple by storm, earning an unprecedented two nominations in the city’s intensely popular Vendy Awards. While the marketable brand is palatable to its thousands of Twitter followers and fans across the country, Quint reveals to Instinct that a major TV network snubbed its inclusion in a segment covering the Vendys (more on that below).
