After news broke in January that Lifetime wouldn’t be renewing Drop Dead Diva, gays and gals flooded the interwebs with protest. Well, looks like their prayers have been answered, as Drop Dead Diva has been revived! Details after the jump.

Gay producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, producers of Smash and Drop Dead Diva, have been announced as the producers of the 85th Academy Awards. 

We may have to start watching Lifetime! (We're already watching Lifetime.)
