Equality Ohio has appointed Kim Welter, the organization's director of programs and outreach, to take over as the interim executive director of the state LGBT-rights group following Ed Mullen's arrest and resignation.

An Ohio pro-marriage equality group has drawn opposition from other pro-marriage equality groups for apparently going rogue in their attempts to get same-sex marriage legalized in the state.
