Is this the Friends reunion we've all been waiting for?!

Jennifer Aniston is co-hosting Wednesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show and it looks like Ellen's pulled off a miracle!

This may be the closest we get to a full-fledged return of the show we love.

The team behind the Archie Comics are showing no sign of steering away from controversy! The comic series introduced its first gay character, Kevin Keller back in 2010 (via Veronica, naturally) and now its introducing another first:

You've presumbably heard about the latest Abercrombie & Fitch controversy. Long story short, the company's CEO Mike Jeffries thinks A&F is an aspirational brand that isn't suited for people that don't fit into the "All-American" zero percent body fat mold. Apparently the company's stopped making clothing that's sized beyond a woman's size ten.

Basically if you're not hot magazine cover material, you're not Abercrombie's audience. (This, of course, is all the more interesting based on images of Jeffries.)

As our homo hearts palpitate, follow the jump to watch Cher and her 86-year old mother Georgia Holt perform "I'm Just Your Yesterday," a duet from Holt's upcoming new album, on Ellen.

Ellen DeGeneres took a moment on her show to poignantly and hilariously congratulate NBA star Jason Collins on coming out. 

Considering the walls Ellen broke through (and the professional hits she took) when she bravely came out in the 90's, the moment feels even more special!

Arn Tellem, a sports agent who reps openly gay NBA player Jason Collins, calls the athlete "inspiring" and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the historic coming out. 

We were always told, "Someday your ship will come in," but apparently not this year.

In a move straight out of our nightmares, New York City's annual "Fleet Week," which brings gorgeous U.S. Naval sailors into the city by the droves has been cancelled.

Janelle Monáe linked up with Erykah Badu for her new track, "Q.U.E.E.N." and we can't help but think that it's a love song to the gays. With its references to "throwing shade," "serving face," "twerking," and defying labels--how could we not?
