Okay, relax, France.

In the wake of the French government's legalization of marriage equality, those that oppose same-sex marriage have taken to the interwebs.

But they're not just stopping at denouncing their legislation. Homophobic tweets, including those calling for the death of gays are suddenly trending in the country.

Not everyone (male or female) can rock a skirt, but we think Kanye West pulled it off during his December 12 benefit concert in New York.

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, not everyone agrees and 90's rapper, Lord Jamar of the group Brand Nubian sounded off in opposition to Kanye's gender-bending swag in a homophobic diss track.

A coalition of LGBT leaders has sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner demanding that he immediately stop using millions of taxpayer funds to keep the Defense of Marriage Act alive in courts.

If the desire to see their fellow citizens treated equally doesn't motivate voters and lawmakers in states around the U.S. to support marriage equality, perhaps the influx of revenue that Maryland, Maine, and Washington are about to bring in from the gays will make them a little more amenable to the idea!

The Williams Institute at UCLA has just released their estimates for the minimum generated income same-sex marriage will bring to those three states and it's enough to make any state proudly wave a rainbow flag!
