After confirming to ThinkProgress (who made the story national) that the writer of an anti-gay letter was the mother of Brad Pitt, an editor at the Springfield News-Leader redacted the publication's confirmation and then redacted that redaction.

Now, according to the paper, the Jane Pitt willing to overlook Mitt Romney's Mormonism because of his strong anti-gay "values" is Brad's mom.

The Internet has absolutely erupted today after President Obama completed a 560 day evolution to become the first sitting president to support marriage equality.
