If Diane Sawyer is anything like us, she'll be waking up on the bathroom floor in about an hour, stumble straight to the medicine cabinet, fumble around for four Excedrin, then place an order for hash browns with extra grease from Renaissance Diner.
Apparently, Diane played the same drinking game most of us at election parties enjoyed. The rules were simple: take a shot every time a Republican cried. We were tipsy not even an hour into the results, but Diane...Diane had a good night.
Hopefully one of her staff has the sense of humor to tell her that Romney won the election when she inevitably asks "So, who won?" this morning.

Heart it or hate it? This is basically a rhetorical question because whether we're a fan of Christina's attitude on a given day or not, when she brings it, she BRINGS it.
X-Tina delivered a gorgeous rendition of her hit, "Beautiful" at the NBC benefit for Hurricane Sandy and leaked her ballad, "Blank Page" off of her upcoming album, Lotus.
We think they're pretty lovely, but what do you think, Instincters? Tell us after the jump!

To paraphrase Beyonce in Lady Gaga's "Telephone": "Should have left my phone at home cuz this is a disaster..."
The Human Rights Campaign is filing a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission over mass spam text messages that are targeting President Obama and his support of marriage equality.
People are receiving unsolicited texts saying, "Obama supports homosexuality and its radical social agenda. Say No to Obama on Nov 6!," and other charming messages like that.

Updated Sunday, 2:20 p.m. PST
President Obama's reaffirmation of his belief that same-sex marriage is an issue best left up to the states to legislate wasn't met with a ton of enthusiasm, but we now have his full statement and seeing his remarks in their full context may make them more palatable. We'd love to hear your thoughts!
See his full response (video and transcript) to MTV's Sway on whether he'd use a second Presidential term to overturn the federal ban on same-sex marriage after the jump.

Our friends at Towleroad brought it to our attention that our favorite daytime couple, Will and Sonny, were being censored on YouTube!
More accurately, their steamy kissing scene (complete with ::gasp:: the unbuttoning of a shirt!) was deemed "inappropriate" and an age verification was instituted.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled today that the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) unconstitutionally discriminates against married same-sex couples.
The case was brought to the court by Edith "Edie" Windsor. Windsor's wife, Thea Spyer, died in 2009 and she left all of her property to her spouse. While deceased spouse's estate typically would go to the surviving spouse without any estate tax, DOMA prevents the federal government from recognizing the state-recognized legal marriages of same-sex couples.
Windsor had to pay $363,000 in federal estate taxes as a result. More after the jump.
