Following Monday's ruling, on Tuesday a second federal judge ruled against a similar injuntion requested by the Liberty Counsel and the National Assocation for Research and Therapy (NARTH). Unlike Judge William Shubb, Judge Kimberly J. Mueller found that California's ban on "ex-gay" therapy does not infringe upon the First Amendment rights of ex-gay therapists or the parents sending their children into reparative therapy.

Dr. Oz knew his decision to give the resoundingly discredited "ex gay" therapy voodoo credibility would be a controversial one. So, ahead of Wednesday's airing, Dr. Oz posted a blog defending his decision to capitalize on the topic in an episode that left a bad taste in much of the LGBT community's collective mouth.

So, what did Dr. Oz have to say for himself? 

Dr. Oz is inviting controversy today as his daytime talk show explores "ex gay" therapy. Activist and blogger Jeremy Hooper, a distinguished member of Instinct's 2012 crop of Leading Men, takes issue with Dr. Oz even discussing the discredited topic on national television to begin with.

Here come the crazies! 

A fringe pro-ex-gay therapy group, Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX), has accused state Senator Ted Lieu of "facism and ex-gay bashing" following his sponsorhip of California's SB 1172, which prevents children under the age of 18 from participating in ex-gay/reparative therapy.

Because keeping kids from being forced down a dangerous path of denial and self-loathing is TOTALLY facist.

Raising a white flag but not quite ready to raise the rainbow stripes, Exodus International is rolling with all the punches the "ex gay" movement has received recently by preparing an image makeover. 

While gays may have battled it out for the "craziest outfit" at L.A. Pride over the weekend, anti-gay preachers were certainly fighting for the simple title of "craziest." Where one preacher used potty-mouthed tactics to inflame altercations, another donned a mustache as fake as his ministry, entered the colorful crowd and attempted to draft parade goers to join his heterosexualization seminar.
