110 members of the House of Representatives submitted a letter to President Obama, today, requesting that he sign an executive order banning employment discrimination by federal contractors on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. 

Those New Yorkers who have been displaced from their regular voting locations will still be able to vote in tomorrow's Presidential election. (So fear not New York Instincters that don't live in Hell's Kitchen—your voices will be heard!!)

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomohas signed an executive order that will allow all displaced New York voters to cast provisional ballots at polling stations outside of their regular district on Election Day.

The Washington Post is reporting that big-name LGBT donors have shut down the gAyTM and are withholding size-able donations from the Obama campaign. 

Tico Almeida, an activist with the pro-LGBT group Freedom To Work, has provided details of the meeting that lead to the White House's decision to withhold an executive order banning federal contractors from discriminating against the LGBT. The speculation surrounding President Obama's decision to throw the community under the election year campaign bus, after the jump.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was inundated with questions concering the Obama Adminstration's decision to continue allowing federal contractors to discriminate against LGBT employees at today's press conference.

So, how did Carney explain the White House's election year tactic that keeps nearly 16 million Americans at risk of losing their jobs for being gay?

Isn’t there something to be said for the element of surprise?
