You'd have to be colorblind not to notice the sea of change that flooded Facebook this week.

On Monday, the Human Rights Campaign promoted its red-hued equality sign and asked supporters of marriage equality to make it their profile picture in honor of the Supreme Court hearings; by Wednesday, a large portion of users had made the swap to state their support.

Today, in a rare glimpse at the data behind the scenes of the largest social network, Facebook breaks down the number of users who changed their profile pictures on Tuesday (the day of the Prop 8 hearing at SCOTUS).

A Michigan Republican National Committeeman, Dave Agema, published a blatantly anti-gay post on his Facebook page and it's his fellow Republicans that are demanding his resignation.

What do your Facebook "Likes" say about you?

That's the premise of a new study out of the University of Cambridge, where researchers have pinpointed with frightening accuracy the type of person who likes everything from "emo" to "Did you get a haircut no it grew shorter."

Not to be confused with yesterday's Prop 8 brief featuring signatures from a lot of the same companies, an even larger set of corporations and cities have asked the Supreme Court to rule against the "Defense of Marriage Act."

Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes didn't hesitate to express his concern over Mark Zuckerberg's allegiance with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who famously vetoed marriage equality in the state.

Now marriage equality advocates are getting in on the action.

Chris Hughes, a co-founder of Facebook along with Mark Zuckerberg, is voicing his concerns over Zuckerberg's support of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Zuckerberg is hosting a Feb. 13 fundraiser for Christie at his home in Palo Alto, California.

Christie's widely acknowledged for his capable handling of the Hurricane Sandy crisis in the state, but he's also received a lot of negative attention within the LGBT community based on his veto of same-sex marriage.

A disgusting Facebook page that took a cue from Uganda's Rolling Stone newspaper to call for a "witch hunt" against identified and named LGBT Ugandans has been taken down by the social network. 

We thought this was joke, but sadly it's not. An anti-gay group called Heterosexual Awareness Month (because clearly we're shockingly unaware of the heteros out there) is providing the “official certificate of heterosexuality ready to print and hang on your wall!”

But not you, ya know, because you're gay.
