The trustworthy and invaluable LGBT organization CampusPride is making us do a double-take this Monday after announcing why it has called off its boycott of Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-fil-A's corporate office has responded to a request from Instinct to confirm or clarify claims made today by The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA) that have left those in the LGBT community scratching their heads. 

When a Virginia-based reporter played a word association game with Paul Ryan and Chick-Fil-A came up, the GOP vice presidential candidate revealed how he feels about the chicken chain's anti-gay PR problem.

To grease the minds (and likely increase the waist sizes) of its sheeple, the National Organization for Marriage is asking homophobic Americans to buy fried chicken from Chick-fil-A every Wednesday for the rest of 2012. 

Michele Bachmann picked the perfect setting to record a video reminding an American minority group that she is against their equality and supports the continued discrimination lofted their way. Classy! Errr, trashy!

Yet again, the Chick-fil-A press department is left to clean up the PR mess spread by anti-gay CEO and homophobic activists. In an attempt to distance itself from Wednesday's undeniably successful "Homophobia Appreciation Day," the Chick-fil-A press department has released a statement in an attempt to calm the rising reaction.

The Twitterverse collectively forgot that Roseanne Barr is a brassy comedian on Thursday or something as a heated backlash washed her way after she Tweeted some unflattering words to patrons of Chick-fil-A. 

As evident in its motto alone, the City of Brotherly Love & Sisterly Affection goes against every bigoted bullet point on Chick-fil-A's anti-gay agenda. Therefore, City Councilman Jim Kenney has sent a letter to Chick-fil-A's homophobic CEO to blast his war against the LGBT community and promise to introduce a resolution officially condemning the fast food chain.
