With her Change.org petition gaining steam (and celebrity signatures: Josh Hutcherson signed it over the weekend), ousted Boy Scouts den leader Jennifer Tyrell gave one of the most moving speeches of the day at the Los Angeles GLAAD Media Awards. Jennifer Tyrrell, a Boy Scouts den leader who was removed from the notoriously homophobic organization for being gay, has launched a petition to get reinstated (and to call out the group's vehement anti-gay practices). Details follow. 

Three names that have helped make Tyra Banks's America's Next Top Model an acronym-ed household name (ANTM) have reportedly been cut from the show.

The first big gay prom story of the year involves a straight student who just wanted to make his school's event more inclusive. Cynthia Davis, the beloved principal of an Arizona high school, was fired by the Paradise County School District after they decided not to renew her contract on the basis of her sexual orientation. Davis, acknowledges that she is a lesbian, though she currently is not in a relationship.

Alert The X-Factor that Man vs. Wild hottie Bear Grylls is back in the TV job market (though the show's open hosting gig certainly doesn't allow enough shirtless screen time for us to sign off on letting our husband assume the role). 

Former Florida public school teacher, Shawn Loftis, who you may know as ex-gay porn star Collin O’Neal, was fired in 2011 after his gay porn past was revealed.

LA Weekly reports that that decision has been overturned, and Loftis is once again able to apply for full-time teaching positions.

Well congrats are in order as Al and his new husband, Charlie Robin, tied the knot yesterday—and in Central Park no less! We wonder if that's where they met...
