The U.S. Department of State has updated its travel advisory website to include a notice for LGBT Americans considering travel to foreign countries. So, what does the advisory say?

Our girl (and U.S. Secretary of State) Hillary Clinton addressed a group of nearly 200 LGBT foreign service officers today during a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies (GLIFAA).

Clinton once again reaffirmed her mission to achieve equality for LGBT people in the U.S. and around the world.

Russia continued its rolling back of human rights support at a gathering of G8 foreign ministers hosted by Sec. of State Hillary Clinton. After an affirmation declaring that the G8 countries endorse LGBT rights was presented, only one nation refused to endorse the statement: Russia.

The administration of Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper has promised to change the country's law so that the thousands of foreign same-sex marriage licenses that were effectively dissolved on Thursday can be recognized as valid. Details follow.

In yet another example of GOP presidential candidates throwing gays under the bigot bus just to steal a few evangelical dollars from Newt's piggy-bank, Rick Perry condemned today's historic international LGBT rights directive issued by the Obama Administration. Details follow.

Malaysian leaders aren't the only ones banning the gay. Organizers of New York City's St. Patrick's Day Parade have for years censored the LGBT from its annual event, but a new Irish official has had enough of the discrimination.

Annette Bening, who was up for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her sapphic role in The Kids Are All Right, applauded the Hollywood Foreign Press (producers of the Globes) for blocking out Westboro sheeple who were attempting to protest the gay-friendly event. 

Said Bening, "That made me very sad. They may have had (The Kids Are All Right) in mind. I think that gives us all the more reason to go to the Golden Globes, and for the HFPA to see beyond that, (not) caught up behind the narrow mindedness." 

Annette won the award for Best Actress, btw. Take that, Westboro!
