Our girl (and U.S. Secretary of State) Hillary Clinton addressed a group of nearly 200 LGBT foreign service officers today during a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Gays and Lesbians in Foreign Affairs Agencies (GLIFAA).
Clinton once again reaffirmed her mission to achieve equality for LGBT people in the U.S. and around the world.

Russia continued its rolling back of human rights support at a gathering of G8 foreign ministers hosted by Sec. of State Hillary Clinton. After an affirmation declaring that the G8 countries endorse LGBT rights was presented, only one nation refused to endorse the statement: Russia.

Annette Bening, who was up for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her sapphic role in The Kids Are All Right, applauded the Hollywood Foreign Press (producers of the Globes) for blocking out Westboro sheeple who were attempting to protest the gay-friendly event.
Said Bening, "That made me very sad. They may have had (The Kids Are All Right) in mind. I think that gives us all the more reason to go to the Golden Globes, and for the HFPA to see beyond that, (not) caught up behind the narrow mindedness."
