We knew it was coming, but we were excited to see how they'd tackle it! 

The folks at Saturday Night Live took on Jason Collins' coming out story last night by brilliantly sending up FOX News' coverage of the story via a "FOX & Friends" spoof.

Our friends at Media Matters For America took a look at the cable news coverage of NBA star's groundbreaking announcement that he's gay and surprise surprise, the story got significantly less play on FOX News in comparison to rival networks CNN and MSNBC.

It also didn't help that certain FOX News contributors felt compelled to mock the event.

We're not sure why he's chiming in anyway, since he won't ever be fighting Fallon Fox, but UFC fighter Matt Mitrione made an ass of himself on Monday when he went on a vitriolic rant against transgender female fighter Fallon Fox. 

During an appearance on The MMA Hour, Mitrione called Fallon Fox a "lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak."

Fallon Fox is officially free to fight in Florida now that she's been cleared of allegations that she lied when applying for her Florida license.

The MMA fighter recently came out as transgender and there have been questions raised about whether she'd previously been licensed to fight in  California (and whether she intentionally misled the Florida licensing group).

MMA fighter Fallon Fox has been at the center of controversy since coming out as transgender. 

Now her upcoming opponent Allanna Jones is claiming that Fox has no place in the sport.

Taylor, you in danger, girl! Taylor Swift had some harsh words for our girls  Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, after the two poked some good-natured fun at her expense at the Golden Globes. 

Piggybacking on Swift's much discussed dating history, the duo cracked that 23-year-old should stay away from Michael J. Fox's 23-year-old son, Sam. 

Swift, of course, is known for writing tortured love songs about the men that have inevitably done her wrong (and more often than not they happen to be famous celebrities, go figure).
