French President Francois Hollande officially signed marriage equality into law today in France. The bill also legalized adoption by same-sex couples.
France is the 14th country to legalize same-sex marriage.

Okay, relax, France.
In the wake of the French government's legalization of marriage equality, those that oppose same-sex marriage have taken to the interwebs.
But they're not just stopping at denouncing their legislation. Homophobic tweets, including those calling for the death of gays are suddenly trending in the country.

By a vote of 331 to 225, the French Parliament has given its final approval of marriage equality. It was the final hurdle for same-sex marriage in the country, officially making France the 14th country in the world to offer equality to LGBT couples.
