As we reported last week, anti-equality forces in Maryland submitted more than the required amount of signatures to the state elections officials; authorities validated most of the signatures on Thursday night, pretty much making it official that the rights of a minority group will go up for a majority vote in Maryland come fall.

San Diego's Missiongathering Christian Church has erected a billboard on the Billy Graham Parkway just outside Charlotte to apologize to the LGBT community for the campaign and passage of Amendment One.

Perhaps best remembered in the National Organization Against Marriage’s notoriously wacky “Gathering Storm” ad, it’s now speculated that far-fetched propaganda depicting marriage equality’s "Armageddon-like" impact on kids is what helped pass Prop 8.
