David Cooley, creator of the Abbey, just signed a lease on a 10,000 square foot Santa Monica Blvd. space and it sounds like it could soon be the new talk of the town.

But the shrieking, penis-balloon-hat wearing girls will be a thing of the past now that The Abbey, often crowned the world's "best gay bar," has banned bachelorette parties.

Never Mind, a gay bar in Copenhagen, Denmark, is receiving international attention this week (and not the good kind) after a bouncer allegedly told a straight couple they weren't allowed to kiss on the premises. 

The ladies of Chelsea Lately gave their unique take on Chicago gay bar, Wang's controversial policy that makes the bar "Men only after 11pm."
