It turns out that’s not always the case. This past weekend a video went viral of a gay man being detained with a harder hand than necessary by a WeHo bouncer.

The victim, Ben Carver (pictured), alleges that Francis punched him repeatedly in the face after hearing about Carver's sexuality and the bar's demographic.
"I'm not going to say sorry, because I don't know what I should be sorry for," Francis said during a court appearance late yesterday.
"I don't hate gay people. I don't hate anybody."
Francis, who is 21-years old and has a criminal record, has started to use his "full-blown lesbian" (his words) sister as an alibi for why this wasn't a hate crime. He is still behind bars as he... FULL STORY
