Six months after the official end of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," and the LGBT presence in the U.S. military is unmistakable. In Afghanistan—the domain of an American Mstr. Sgt. who found himself "disgusted" with the homecoming pics of same-sex couples —a new symbol of American Pride is raised.

Mixed messages, much? God was apparently the (intelligent!) designer of the Gay Pride flag, having selected the rainbow and crossed his Mighty fingers in hopes that his followers would understand the symbol carries a drastically different meaning nowadays than when he first unveiled it for Noah. Or something, at least according to Pastor Scott Lively who attempted to scare his sheeple with connections between rainbow flags and Armageddon in a sermon poetically entitled "The Global Threat of Homosexuality."
