Though out-gay Democratic Rep. Barney Frank has no plans to seek re-election when his term is, he's making it very clear that he doesn't believe there's a one-size-fits all standard when it comes to gay political candidates.

Frank is actively opposing the election of openly gay Republican Masschusetts congressional hopeful Richard Tisei, arguing that Tisei's election will set back efforts to expand gay rights.

Basically, Barney ain't got time for that!
