We are still wearing our laced black veil over our gorgeous mugs in memory of Olympic wrestling, which yesterday was killed as an official sport of the Games by the IOC. We haven't even dried our mascara-laden tears and already a homophobic Russian is blaming us US for the banishing of one of our favorite sports. Kick us and pin us while we're down, why don't you??

A new study out of New York University reveals that mental health burdens are playing a key role in the spread of HIV among young black and Latino men.  The study finds that the "burdens of racism, homophobia, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder contribute to the HIV epidemic among both groups.

After a morning of high profile headlines on gay publications such as yours truly, the National Organization for Marriage has deleted its web-page promoting Matt Barber's belief that gays should be put to death. 

There is a small but YouTube-friendly group of French gay men who are opposed to marriage equality rights in France that have banded together to fight the country's pending legislation. Banding together under the name Homovox, the group has released videos on YouTube detailing their opposition to civil equality—videos which the National Organization for Marriage of course has copy + pasted into their own materials here in the States. 

A disgusting Facebook page that took a cue from Uganda's Rolling Stone newspaper to call for a "witch hunt" against identified and named LGBT Ugandans has been taken down by the social network. 

Pope Benedict has once again exploited a holiday meant to celebrate peace and the coming together of humanity to demonize a minority group. Check out the Pope's latest vitriolic battle in his war against the LGBT community after the jump.
