An offshoot of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, the Give A Damn Campaign has released another PSA, this time tackling the often overlooked topic of GLBT homeless youth.

Cyndi Lauper Gives A Damn, as evident from six months full of emotional celebrity-studded (this time literally thanks to Ricky Martin's inclusion) PSA's generated by her new organization.

The latest cause Cyndi (as well as Elton John, Idina Menzel, Wanda Sykes and Rachael Harris) lend their voices to is the scourge of hate crimes afflicting the contemporary world. Whether or not Sir Elton's appearance is an effort to regain some credit in the straight gay world, the collection of household names coming out to fight during a period of increased need in the community is invaluable.

The latest video in the Give A Damn Campaign (an arm of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund), featuring Whoopi Goldberg, Piper Perabo and Brad Goreski, has surfaced.

True Blood star Anna Paquin has come out as bisexual. As part of the new project from Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund titled the Give a Damn Campaign, Anna announced, "I'm bisexual and I give a damn."

The campaign, launched today, seeks to promote GLBT equality with the assistance of out celebrities like Elton John, Wanda Sykes and now Anna Paquin, as well as our hetero allies such as Sharon Osbourne, Kim Kardashian and Jason Mraz.
