Well, it looks like Glee's leaky-faucet PR machine is back in full force after the winter hiatus. Today we get a sneak peek of the Dalton Warblers (starring Darren Criss) performing Destiny Child's "Bills Bills Bills." Heart it or hate it, Instincters?

When something tingles in our cold, black, permanent winter-blizzard of a chest cavity we usually have to rush to the doctor. Today, however, we think it's just a murmur sparked by Glee's breakout heartthrob Darren Criss, who joins Ellen this afternoon to discuss how proud he is to play gay. We should eat something a bit more caloric than our typical ice-chips lunch (with a Listerine strip for dessert!) today to ensure we don't faint from all the swooning...

So I'm either shaking because I haven't imbibed any sustenance since my liquid breakfast or because I'm a huge Yeah Yeah Yeahs fans and nearly fainted after listening to this leak from Glee's highly-anticipated post-Superbowl "Thriller" episode. Michael Jackson's "Thriller" mashed with "Heads Will Roll" performed by the cast of Glee? All gay hipsters can die now.

Heart it or hate it, Instincters?

Screw Kings Of Leon and Slash -- Glee needs to stick to the gaydored music it's pimped in the past. With that in mind, a Facebook group has popped up aiming to help Chris Colfer add "some sparkle" to the show with the tunes of Scissor Sisters. We're kicking spanking ourselves for not thinking of this first as it makes complete and utter sense! If Ryan Murphy and Jake Shears decide to go down this glittery road hand-in-hand, which Scissor Sisters song do you think Chris Colfer should tackle on Glee?

Updated Wednesday, January 26

Last week we told you that Slash issued a big "F*ck You" -- the Cee Lo Green kind, not the Gwyneth Paltrow version -- to Glee. Show creator Ryan Muprhy responded this week in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter

“Usually I find that people who make those comments, their careers are over; they’re uneducated and quite stupid.”

Ryan's snark came after Kings Of Leon denied the use of their music on Glee, to which he replied:

"Fuck you, Kings of Leon. They’re self-centered assholes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument...

Over the weekend NBC Universal picked up two gay, gay, GAY sitcom pilots that might put the rainbow back into the peacock. One possible series is a Glee-competitor (with a focus on original music rather than covers); another is a lesbian rom-com that producers hope to star-stud with real-life actual natural non-straight lesbians!

NYMag has the scoop:

First there's Smash, a musical series about the making of a Broadway play based on an idea by Steven Spielberg that's being produced by Chicagoand Hairspray maestros Craig Zadan and Neil Meron; if a deal can be finalized, the pilot will be directed by American Idiot helmer Michael Mayer. Hairspray duo Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman will reunite with Zadan and Meron ...

The landmark show Glee isn't only spreading tolerance and open-minds in the real world; in Toronto it's also inspiring a new weapon for anti-gay bullying: slushies.

Reports the Toronto Star:

The principal of Jarvis Collegiate Institute said allegations that students are hurling slushies, shoes and homophobic slurs at residents of the Gay Village are being “treated very seriously.”

However, Enza Anderson, who has been harassed in the past, called the students “teens of terror” and has organized a public meeting to discuss what she describes as homophobia in the community after a recent attack.

Paul Winsor, a local florist, was singled out by a group of about 12 students who shouted “faggot” and soaked him with two frozen...

Updated Thursday, January 20, Noon EST

Glee creator Ryan Murphy tells Access Hollywood that Anne Hathaway's cameo will happen sooner rather than later, and that she was casted right there on the spot, Sunday night at the Golden Globes!

“She walked by our table and we have a mutual friend and I said, ‘Do you really want to do it?’ And she said, ‘I do.’ And I said, ‘OK, we’re gonna do it.’”

“I think we’ll do it probably in a month and a half or so… I have to talk to Anne about what she wants to sing. I’m sure she has ideas,” he said. “I’m excited about that.”

Anne herself hinted at what she might sing when she created the role during an interview on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in November.

“In my...

It might be due to the chili-con-carne egg-white frittata we chased our breakfast-time Bloody Mary with, but re-watching Chris Colfer's emotional Golden Globe acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor made our cold, dead hearts tingle.

Will Superbowl XLV be the gayest footbase or hockeyball or whatever event in sports history?

We've known for months that the most expensive episode yet of Glee will follow the Superbowl and include a high-school band rendition of "Thriller." But now HitFix has confirmed that Christina Aguilera has been picked to sing the national anthem at this year's event, kicking off what might just be the gayest night in sports (sorry, U.S. Figure Skating Championships).

It's not Xtina's first time performing in front of dozens of beefy, sweaty men; in 2000, Christina performed during the Superbowl half-time show, an honor that goes to The Black Eyed Peas this year.

Let’s state the obvious first: Basically anyone in a Tyler Perry movie or television show got nominated for a 2011 NAACP Image Award. More interesting, however, from the newly announced nominees are some of the people competing against the likes of Ms. Jackson, Whoopi and company.

Surprise #1: Justin Timberlake lands an acting nomination for The Social Network. (Umm...
