Not to be confused with yesterday's Prop 8 brief featuring signatures from a lot of the same companies, an even larger set of corporations and cities have asked the Supreme Court to rule against the "Defense of Marriage Act."

A coalition of businesses and business leaders in Illinois have thrown their weight behind marriage equality, arguing in a letter issued on Sunday that anything less puts the state on an unequal entrepreneurial playing field.

Google employees, last seen letting LGBT youth know "It Gets Better," have once again stepped out from behind the search bar to speak out in support of the gay community. This time around it's The Four campaign that has captured the hearts of Googlers interested in winning the marriage equality battles taking place in Minnesota, Washington, Maine and Maryland in November. 

A major push from bisexual advocacy groups and an online campaign including a petition have inspired Google to unblock "bisexual" from its search algorithm.

This could actually be fun!

Buster Wilson, general manager of anti-gay hate group the American Family Association's more than 200 radio stations, has called for a boycott of Google following the planned launch of the "Legalize Love" initiative, which will combat anti-gay legislation around the world.

Buster accurately notes that this one will be tough, not only based on Google's status as the world's dominant search engine, but also because of the company's extensive technological reach (Android phones, Gmail, YouTube—all Google!).

Thanks to Google's new algorithms, Dan Savage's SpreadingSantorum.com is no longer the No. 1 result when one searches for "Santorum." But Savage isn't upset about the displacement because the new top result is even filthier.

The folks at the National Organization for Marriage took the bait Google dangled in front of them on Valentine's Day by pretending to not take the bait. 

We might not have started our work day with the one or two secret Valentine's candy grams that we had hoped for (we just wanted free breakfast!), but at least we arrived to work to a sweetheart message from our secret admirer, Google...
