Another day, another morsel of Michele Bachmann's anti-gay past garners the spotlight. I love that ridiculous homophobia now leaves the majority of the world with such a bad case of the eye rolls that the d-bags perpetuating it either have to immediately embark on Apology World Tours at the suggestion of their publicists, or have to defend their unpopular anti-gay activities at the suggestion of their egos. Follow the jump to see why Rick Santorum found it important to add his signature right under Michele Bachmann's on that deplorable conservative pledge against equality, science and Christian tenets, and asks signers to promise their fidelity in their marriage.

Michele Bachmann slid down her own slippery slope today as she descended to an all-time low in her historic homophobic campaign. A right-wing pledge begging for GOP presidential candidate signatures received her ink without even as much as a second thought (which I don't think Bachmann affords much of anything, including facts). Details follow.

If anyone knows who is in need of an education it is surely the husband of fact-challenged Michele Bachmann. In a clip that ThinkProgress has unearthed, Marcus Bachmann, who was at one time an alleged "ex gay therapist," announces that gays are "barbarians" who "need to be educated" and "disciplined." Hear his asinine statement (and MSNBC's just-broadcasted reaction), after the jump.

Listen, thin looks good on a lot of things, but patience is not one of them. Readers, reporters, equality-minded Senators, and, especially, New York's LGBT population are encumbered with fatigue by the NY GOP's inability to bring marriage equality to a vote.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry hasn't yet officially tossed his cowboy hat into the ring of 2012 GOP presidential candidates but, according to Politico, his wranglers (his team, not his jeans) are already ready to fight against a national re-airing of the gay rumors that have circled his tenure.
