Unhappy that Brett Ratner was profusely apologetic for using the same homophobic slur countless individuals hear as they're being attacked for being gay, GOProud's lead piece Chris Barron went on an editorial rant against GLAAD's effect on Ratner in a Friday post at The Daily Caller. So, which criticisms do the supposedly pro-gay activist loft GLAAD's way?

Updated Tuesday 4:30 p.m. PST
Tuesday Logo offered HuffPost a copy of two police reports filed after the incident and an exclusive interview with Garrett:
HuffPost Gay Voices: So, what happened last week? Taylor Garrett: I was in LA last week filming with Ann Coulter. I got back late, late, late on Thursday night. I woke up to a knock on my door. It was our apartment manager and he told me that there was broken glass on my balcony. I didn't realize that my window had been broken because my window is double paned and it had only broken on the outside. I didn't realize it Thursday night when I got in. So the manager told me that he had filed a police report and the security guard that lives on site -- he's also a police officer -- was there... FULL STORY

While the wayward GOProud presses on for any sort of attention, at least one gay Republican group is maintaining a sense of dignity. Find out what the Log Cabin Republicans' Executive Director R. Clark Cooper (pictured above) had to say about GOProud's announcement of Coulter as an "Honorary Chair" and "gay icon." Ugh, we can't even type that without throwing up a little.

Two weeks ago Ann Coulter was whining that she just wants gays to shut up already and that she wishes Don't Ask, Don't Tell would be instituted for all of society; today, she's elected to conservative gay group GOProud's board and named a "gay icon." Makes sense, right?

Tags: donald trump, 2012, presidential campaigns, elections, marriage equality, quote unquote, d-bags, bigots, goproud, videos, interviews Moments ago Donald Trump announced he is willing to saturate a possible 2012 Republican presidentail bid with "hundreds of millions" of his own fortune. That coupled with the increasingly-likely scenario of Trump running for president (a possibility GOProud has endorsed) doesn't bode well for the American LGBT community.
"No, I'm just not in favor of gay marriage," The Donald told Greta van Susteren. "I live in New York. New York is a place with lots of gays, and I think it is great. But I'm not in favor of gay marriage."
Because if anyone understands the sanctity of marriage, it's thrice-married supermodelizer Donald Trump.
