We took yesterday's rumor that Adam Lambert was in talks to join American Idol as a judge with many (MANY) grains of salt rimming our happy hour margaritas. Luckily, to soothe our resulting headaches, Adam Lambert himself took the time to release an official statement about the gossip.

Adam Lambert (of the first out gay person to have a Billboard No. 1 record fame) and Beth Ditto (of Gossip and international cult celebrity fame) joined Andy Cohen on Thurdsay night's episode of Watch What Happens Live. The result? The best episode the series has seen! We're crossing our fingers (and legs!) for a spin-off starring the two out celebrities. Are you listening, Andy? Get on it!
