Even a Werther's Original isn't as sweet as this new marriage equality ad from Freedom to Marry featuring grandparents against Minnesota's proposed anti-same-sex marriage amendment.  

Sure, our grandparents love and support us wholeheartedly, but we'd have to promise a truck-load of Werther's originals, shut down all golf-courses, silent the Jitterbug and put Charlie Rose on hiatus to get them to sit still for a quick video message. Such energy! But the incredible grandparents of Soulforce Equality Ride founder Jacob Reitan, up against an effort to steal away civil rights in Washington by referendum, are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure love wins out in the state.
