When Oprah invited Terry McMillan and Jonathan Plummer, the pair that served as the inspiration for How Stella Got Her Groove Back, on her show in September, there was a moment edited out of the interview that viewers never got to see. During the interview with the author wife and her gay ex-husband, Oprah told Jonathan after reviewing his mannerisms and speech, "You seem gayer than you were the last time." Once the live show wrapped, producers and publicists convinced the Big O -- with a bit of struggle -- that they should edit her comment out as it could read as offensive.
