Well it was fun while it lasted (but probably not so fun for him). Embattled Illinois Republican Party Chairman Paty Brady, who famously came out in support of marriage equality, has resigned. 

Since announcing his personal support of same-sex marriage, Brady has been under constant seige from his fellow party members seeking his removal or resignation.

Still, Brady maintains that's not why he's leaving his post.

President Obama continues to make his second inauguration a welcoming place for all Americans in the selection of former Air Force SSgt. David Hall, a veteran who was discharged under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," as citizen co-chair. 

Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady threw his support behind marriage equality earlier this month saying that same-sex marriage “honors the best conservative principles. It strengthens and reinforces a key Republican value – that the law should treat all citizens equally.”

Well, that's not going over too well with other members of his party, who have been quite vocal in their disagreement. 

Thankfully, Brady's not backing down.

Apparently Minnesota Vikings punter, Chris Kluwe (see how knowledgable we are about football now? We know the positions and everything!) will be going full Eastwood on us tonight in Minnesota.

The out-spoken gay rights advocate will be participating in a debate on marriage equality opposite "empty chair," much like the legendary filmmaker at the Republican National Convention.

The transgender community is calling for Anderson Cooper's silver head following a "sensational" promo for Cooper's  Anderson Live interview with "Mandi," an apparent transgender female who claims that her transition was caused by a non-prescibed, internet-purchased hair loss treatment from India. 

Naturally the transgender community doesn't take too kindly to the implication that being transgender is a result of some bootleg Rogaine equivalent, and they're letting Anderson have it for giving Mandi an audience.
