Lil Buck, the outrageously-talented winner of the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange dance competition, realized a dream as he enjoyed his award package last week performing alongside Madonna during Super Bowl XLVI's halftime show. What we realized, however, was a previously-latent fondness for silver-leaf plated gladiator vests and the potential for Meemaw's gravy boat to become a sexy head piece! Word is that Fergie and company are headed to Dallas on Feb. 6 as the coveted Super Bowl halftime act! Though the NFL hasn't officially given word, the Dallas Morning News reports that the Peas have been given the keys to the stadium, so to speak. Dallas, by the way, is where the big game will be held.

We're talking about football, right??

This will be the first time since 2004's "wardrobe malfunction" that a non-classic-rock act (read safe and family friendly) will get the halftime spot. The last few halftime shows have been total snooze fests, so I'm kinda liking the BEP idea. After all, the band isn't exactly squeaky clean and wholesome...

What do you think of the choice?!
