Logo and Harris Interactive released a one-of-its-kind poll a few months back that showed the LGBT community and general population prioritized the same issues. A new poll from Logo TV and Harris Interactive has unveiled a landmark shift in how the general population feels about LGBT issues ahead of the 2012 elections.

We had a feeling we were on to something special when we re-launched our website and blog a year ago this month, but today a study from Harris Interactive confirms it: GLBT adults are more likely to read blogs and participate in online social networks than our straight counterparts.

The numbers of adults polled show that 54% of GLBT read blogs, compared to 40% of our straight friends.

Getting down into the nitty-gritty, Harris Interactive found that news blogs get the most gay eyes (36% of GLBT readers), followed by entertainment and pop culture blogs (25%).

When it comes to a presence on Facebook, the gay community takes the cake (gluten-free and locally sourced, of course). Nearly two-thirds of those GLBT polled (73%) said they maintained...
