Yikes. Professor, your homophobia is showing.

Harvard Professor Niall Ferguson stepped in it in a big way while debating the economic policies of John Maynard Keynes.  Ferguson is the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of History at Harvard University; he also authored The Great Degeneration: How Institutions Decay and Economies Die.

We know economic policy isn't exactly titillating, but Ferguson's insinuation that Keynes' policies are based on him being homosexual--and as a result, self-interested because he didn't have children is beyond offensive.

Details after the jump.

The DOMA drama continues today as Harvard Law Professor Vicki C. Jackson files a brief asking SCOTUS to not hear the Windsor DOMA case. Jackson also argues that the ragtag group of homophobic House Republicans we've come to know recently does not have the authority to defend DOMA, either. Details follow.

Over the weekend Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Club's Man of the Year accepted his award -- and much hilarious torture -- with a smile.

Justin Timberlake took the stage of the annual roast only to be soon subjected to a quick drag makeover, as well as an "endowment" (not of the academic variety, mind you) joke. In case you're wondering and don't want to fast-forward midway through the first video: two drag queens claim to have asked Jessica Biel what size box (referring to the cult-hit SNL skit) Timberlake required. The response? Jewelry box. Sorry, fellas.

Enjoy the campy hilarity here:

We totally heart Anne Hathaway. She’s gorgeous, she loves her gays (she even has a cute gay brother!) and, hello, Devil Wears Prada! Need we say more?

Harvard apparently loves Anne too, as she accepted her Hasty Pudding Award yesterday in true camp style.

Each year, Harvard's Hasty Pudding Theatricals honors a famous actor as their Woman and Man of the Year. Justin Timberlake (??) will accept his award on February 4. Previous honorees include Anne’s former co-star Meryl Streep, Drew Barrymore, Sarah Jessica Parker and Julia Roberts.

But to get the award, you gotta up the shtick. So, Anne played with drag queens (a Meryl Streep one, none the less), sang, danced and fought her way to claim her honor.

And an even bigger...
