Tags: goldfrapp, rocket, music video, heads first It may be a bit repetitive and a tad 80s, but the video from Goldfrapp's new single "Rocket" has what it takes to make us Instinct boys shake our groove things. The duo's upcoming album Heads First is out March 23.
For now, see how many phallic euphemisms you can count in this stylish release...

This is video of 13-year-old Ke$ha -- as DListed cleverly puts it -- before the dollar sign, performing Radiohead's "Karma Police" at a school talent show in 2000. Not bad actually, but it's curious to see how one goes from poetic Radiohead to kicking guys to the curb unless the look like Mick Jagger just for the sake of rhyming...

Remember the days of car giveaways and desserts being flown in from exotic locations? Well, be it the economy or America’s ever-expanding waistline, Oprah has put the kabosh on her legendary “favorite things” episode this year!
Not that we actually ever got some of the giveaways, but the audience reactions were worth it. Despite “favorite things” being the highest-rated episode for Oprah annually since 2002, a Harpo staff member told All Headline News that there are no plans for the show this year, and no reason for the cancelation was given. Thankfully, though, CNN is reporting the show may be back next season for one final curtain call.
Well, we at Instinct won’t leave you hanging. Not only do we have a huge gift guide... FULL STORY

It was only a matter of time. Social networking's ubiquity has now been linked to a school yard assault, thanks to an event page on Facebook last week titled “Kick a Ginger Day.”
In two incidents, a redheaded student at Wright Middle School in So-Cal was beaten up by groups of boys linked by the aforementioned event page. The page reportedly encouraged students to target redheads with violence on Friday, acts that, because of a recent episode, some might also hold a now-antiquated target, South Park, accountable for.
What's the proper response to this latest “anti”-crime committed with the help of Facebook? Censorship?

Tags: news, headlines, humor, wtf Friday just got a little more TGIF.
The cuties at D-Listed made my day with the discover of what could possibly be the gayest news headline ever (sorry, Clay Aiken):
"Pink-Clad Pooch Stolen from Gay Bar by Man With Britney Spears Tattoo"
Every inch of that headline makes me nearly explode into a glittery cloud of unicorns, rainbow pixie dust and disco balls. (Oh, and in case the headline didn't grab your gayttention, the chihuahua's name is Hudson Hayword Hemingway.)
I mean, this is why we're in the journalism biz after all.
