From Oprah to Celine, many a high profile figure has been the recipient of an honorary degree from an institution of higher learning.
Now NOM's Brian Brown joins their ranks. The only difference?
These individuals received their honors from actual accredited institutions, whereas Brian Brown's "honorary doctorate" that he received this weekend from American Urban University? Well...that school doesn't exist.

Disgraced designer John Galliano is still feeling the heat following his anti-Semitic remarks that cost him his job as the artistic director of Dior in 2011.
According to the BBC, Galliano has been stripped of the Legion d'Honneur. The French government awarded him the medal in 2009 for his contributions to haute couture.

Wonder how Miss X-Factor Judge Britney Spears would rate her lil' sis Jamie Lynn's performance of "I Look Up To You," a song the younger sibling wrote in her honor. It's not half bad, and if we were to use Brit (a.k.a. the gas station patron saint of Starbucks and McDonald's) as a stylistic-reference point, then it's easy to say that Jamie looks simply amazing for a Spears of that generation!
