Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady made news earlier this year for coming out in support of marriage equality, then again on Tuesday when he abruptly resigned from his post. Illinois Republicans may be rethinking their efforts to oust the state's party chairman Pat Brady from his position after he publicly came out in support of marriage equality.

Apparently some party members have gotten the idea that firing Brady for supporting gays may make them look bad to moderate voters.
