Apple's annual iPad updates have become quite the unofficial national holiday, with the tech giant's latest tablet iteration announced moments ago. But are incremental upgrades enough to have you lining up for a new iPad?

Breaking news from the Associated Press that Steve Jobs has died at 56 years old. The Apple co-founder resigned from the company just two months ago.

Apple's Board Of Directors has released the following statement:

We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.

Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.
