Pastor Robert Jeffress has denied basing sermons around Westboro Baptist Church picket signs in an interview on the Alan Colmes Show. The controversial pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas has many years of offensive anti-gay and anti-Semitic material under his belt (that probably caused Tim Tebow to distance himself from the church), but is flat out denying it, even when faced with his own quotes verbatim.

Remember yesterday's big news that Tim Tebow canceled his appearance at the controversial First Baptist of Dallas for unamed reaons other than "new evidence" coming to his attention?

Well, hate group leader Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association looks past all the anti-Christian actions of First Baptist Pastor Robert Jeffress—anti-semiticsm, Islamaphobia, "Satan runs the Catholic Church, to name a few—to criticize Tebow for "caving into Big Gay" (which sounds like a South Park character).
