Even more good news to report from the landmark Election Night! Voters in Troy, Michigan delivered the pink slip to their now-former homophobic mayor, Janice Daniels. You'll recall that Daniels stumbled into the national spotlight when she vowed to throw away all her Chinese-made I <3 NY merchandise after the Empire State legalized marriage equality.

Turns out that position didn't work out so well for Daniels!

Well at the following City Council Meeting in Troy, plenty of folks unwilling to observe Janice's boycott showed up to give the mayor a piece of their minds, including these mothers of two.
