The New Normal was renewed for a second season, but you can bet the dozen or so "One Million Moms" won't be liking the show's Facebook page anytime soon. In a new email blast, the American Family Association subgroup once again lashes out at the TV comedy, this time for giving pop-culture such campy lines like "Jesus was ripped."

So, just how fast are One Million Moms' heads spinning?

Notorious homophobe Linda Harvey is such a giver! She and her “Christian” group Mission America want to make it as easy as possible for parents to breed little homophobes of their own, so the group has published a pamphlet to talk to your kids about homosexuality.

Oh, and keep in mind that, per the group’s own website, this is intended for grade- and middle-school aged children—so preteen and under. Some choice selections from the materials follow.

North Carolina's Pastor Sean Harris continues to fumble his recovery from that weekend sermon instructing parents to beat the gay right out of their kids. Now, instead of blaming us for misinterpreting a message that was meant to be a "joke," Harris is saying his spiel was like one of Jesus's parables and simply hyperbole.

Updated Thursday, 9:57 a.m. PST

Lawyers for the Waynesville School District agreed on Wednesday to allow Maverick Couch to wear his "Jesus Is Not A Homophobe" T-shirt on April 20 to recognize the Day of Silence, the annual national event meant to show solidarity with gay students. A final decision in Couch's lawsuit against the school district is still pending.

Christopher Clark, a Lambda Legal lawyer, officially states: “We're glad that Maverick is able to wear his shirt on April 20th. However, a student's First Amendment rights are not restricted to one day of the year. We will continue to fight …”
