Jean Podrasky, a first cousin of Chief Justice John Roberts, is in D.C., ready to attend the SCOTUS marriage equality hearings this week alongside her partner. She "absolutely trusts" that Justice Roberts "will go in a good direction" with the Prop 8 an DOMA cases he faces on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Daniel, the incredibly well-spoken 12-year old adopted son of a gay couple, feels a connection to the adopted children in Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts family. So he wrote a letter about it asking Justice Roberts to do the right thing when it comes time to hear the case against the Defense of Marriage Act next week.

The New Yorker published a very interesting piece today regarding Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and how he may potentially vote with regards to the gay rights cases that are swiftly making their way to the Supreme Court.

In light of what many are calling Roberts' "surprise" vote in favor of President Obama's health care plan, where he'll fall in the gay rights debate is subject to a great deal of speculation.
