The pilot episode of The New Normal—one of the most anticipated TV series in homo history—has just hit the Internet in its entirety waaaay ahead of its September 11th debut on the rainbow peacock network. Follow the jump to watch Justin Bartha, Georgia King, Ellen Barkin and the openly gay Andrew Rannells all live up to the high expectations of creator/executive-producer Ryan Murphy!

NBC released an extended preview of its gay-surrogacy sitcom, The New Normal, and it has us grinning like idiots.

One of NBC's biggest fall endeavors, The New Normal, has hit us with a one-two punch over the past week.

First of all, the debut cast photo featuring a pregnant Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon), a pregnant Justin Bartha (The Hangover) and a pregnant Georgia King (Skins) gave us odd cravings for pickles and peanut butter with all the hormonal realness; today, NBC released the first teaser clip for the show following a gay couple's journey with surrogacy and made us tear-up a bit with its romantic moments. The hormones of it all!

It looks like NBC has picked up Ryan Murphy's new gay surrogacy comedy, The New Normal.

Should the gay genetics-approved glow of the greenlight (it complements our skin tone!) shine gracefully upon Ryan Murphy's sitcom pilot A New Normal, then we'll have yet another yummy young gay couple to ogle weeklky come fall. When insiders first started buzzing about the Glee creator's newest baby, word of the show's cast only included Book of Mormon's Andrew Rannells. Now, after firing up Grindr and using OK Cupid's Quiver feature, Murphy has finally found a husband for the cute Broadway star: Justin Bartha. 

Former Grey's star T.R. Knight left the show earlier this year on the announcement that he would be heading to Broadway. T.R. was to star in Stanley Tucci's stage directorial debut for the play Lend Me A Tenor in Spring 2010. Now comes news that T.R. has dropped out of the production without explanation. Was Isaiah Washington around??

Well, Broadway may be losing a cutie, but it's also gaining a hottie! Justin Bartha, of The Hangover fame, is said to be stepping into the vacated role of Max. He may not bat for our team like T.R., but we think Justin is a worthy second choice. The (and his) curtain goes up on April 4.
