Not everyone (male or female) can rock a skirt, but we think Kanye West pulled it off during his December 12 benefit concert in New York.

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, not everyone agrees and 90's rapper, Lord Jamar of the group Brand Nubian sounded off in opposition to Kanye's gender-bending swag in a homophobic diss track.

Lord Jamar desperately seeks any semblance of relevance after the jump.

Men donning skirts and tights (separately or complementary) is certainly not sartorial groundbreaking. Eighteenth century aristocrats, for starters, not to mention flirtations in the fashion world periodically since the 1980s have seen adventurous souls with XY chromosomes courting these boldly ambiguous pieces.

But thanks to a few big name celebrities cosigning the looks like Justin Bieber and Kanye West (who performed at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night wearing a leather skirt and leather male leggings a.k.a. meggings), the "traditionally feminine" items are officially hyped and co-opted by men this season. Are you on board with the look that's already taken over Manhattan, London & Paris and threatens to spread to other cosmopolitan...

Are you ready for a Kanye West sex tape?

RadarOnline exclusively reports that they've seen the 20 minute tape, which apparently has Kanye going harder, better, faster, stronger ("Stronger" reference, apologies) on an 18-year-old Kim Kardashian look-a-like.

More after the jump!

Palm Springs was once again a hot spot this past weekend, and while there were plenty of shirtless boys and illicit drug use, the reason was no circuit party—but Coachella!

On the red carpet for the Grammy Awards, cutie-patootie Jason Mraz name dropped hopefuls for another arena -- the debate over marriage equality.

Speaking to Popeater, Mraz said, The more straight people, the better, so big names that cause a stir in the media, like Kanye West and John Mayer. [Mayer's] recently been very transparent in what he's been saying or tweeting and I would love to see some more empowering transparency rather than material or self-loathing. Same as with Kanye -- I feel like he's such a huge presence that if he really promotes it and says, 'Listen, you need to do this,' more people would rally for the cause. The more straight heavy-hitters [that] speak up could really benefit the cause."

Madonna and Beyonce’s invitations arrived, Kanye West’s must have been lost in the mail.

As seemingly every celebrity in the world is taking part in one form or another – Madonna and Beyonce were just added, as performers nonetheless! --  in tomorrow night’s George Clooney star-athon Hope for Haiti, there is one telethon-experienced performer who isn’t: Kanye West.

Popeater thinks its because producers of the star-studded benefit don’t want any of Kanye’s Hennesy hijinks f’ing up their show.

"After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it's just best that he does not participate," a producing partner told Popeater. "Kayne has to make everything about ...

Forever intertwined by one fateful night at the VMA's Taylor Swift and Kanye West have both earned "best of" awards for 2009. Billboard Magazine named Taylor Swift the year's top female artist, while Kanye took the male spot. Sure, Billboard chronicles the music charts, but I have a feeling the titles weren't handed out based on sales...

Do you think these two are worthy to be called top artists of 2009?

Three times the Lady Gaga news to report:

First, the new Norma Gay (sorry Kathy, seems like Gaga is gunning for the title) announced that no interrupting douchebag is going to keep her at home, as she’s turning the failed Fame Kills tour into the Monster Ball. “The Monster Ball is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever 'pop electro opera,” says the singer known for understatements.

She hasn’t totally abandoned hip hop, though, as Kid Cudi will be opening for Gaga’s 22 U.S. shows (check the dates below).

News #2: Gaga is rereleasing her debut album, The Fame, as The Fame Monster on Nov. 23. Eight new tracks will be added, including: “Bad Romance,” “Alejandro,” “So Happy I Could Die,” “Speechless,”...

I had a feeling this wasn't going to work out. Reps have announced the cancelation of Lady Gaga and Kanye West's Fame Kills tour, which was supposed to launch on November 10. No reason has been provided yet.

Let's play guessy-guess, then, as to why Fame Kills was canceled. My guess is Hennesey, Caps-Lock or Enlarged-Ego rehab for Kanye.

Yours?

OK, OK – I know what Kanye West did to Taylor Swift during Sunday’s VMAs was abhorrent, but am I wrong to find one of Jay Leno’s questions almost just as repulsive? In last night’s short interview with Kanye, Jay asks the Tourette’s-afflicted star (allegedly) if his dead mother would be disappointed, nearly driving him to tears.

Am I the only one that thinks the question may have crossed the line?
