This story has sparked a storm of comments either in support or against Ken Mehlman. Last night Keith Olbermann invited Dan Savage on the show for a similar conversation, and it seems that Dan, too, isn't ready to welcome Mehlman with open arms because of the whole allowing gays to get murdered in Iraq and homophobia anti-equality measures in 11 states on this guy's watch.
Attorney and former Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman has come out of the closet. In an interview with The Atlantic, Mehlman said he arrived at the realization that he is gay recently.
