When we first heard through the gayvine that someone out there mashed-up summer's two most infectious songs, we begged that pair of hands in the still above to obey the good penmanship and not. push. the. damn. button.
But our tantrum didn't work and, too our surprise, this inevitable mash-up of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" actually doesn't make our brains explode. Almost counterintuitively, the crafty reworking is like hearing the infectious songs for the first time. Still, a hazmat suit might be required to follow the jump for the explosion of viral goodiness.
