Florida's Lake County School Board members are acting more like kindergartners than adults in their consideration of allowing a gay-straight alliance in their district.

Dora High School, where nauseous anti-gay teacher Jerry Buell has been deemed "fit for teaching" despite comparing himself to "Jesus Christ" and telling students that gays should be sent to their deaths on the front-lines of war. Teachings of Jerry Buell, the Florida teacher briefly suspended for calling marriage equality a "cesspool" that makes him want to throw up, have hit the Internet, and, folks, they aren't pretty. Last week, we brought word to you that Buell, fresh off the decision by the Lake County School District to reinstate his teaching status, promised to teach kids like "Jesus Christ himself." Today, thanks to Equality Florida, we get an idea of what Buell imagines Jesus would teach kids about gay people. 

Guess the Florida teacher suspended for a short period for anti-gay messages on Facebook believes that Jesus Christ was a hate-filled bigot because he compares himself to the world's most popular-man. What from Jerry's past syllabus has lead Lake County, Florida schools to again consider issuing him a suspension?

During a school board meeting on Monday night, Jerry Buell, the Lake County, Florida teacher we told you about last week who said that marriage equlaity in New York is a "cesspool" that made him "almost throw up," begged people to start obeying the Bible and refused to apologize for his homophobic remarks.
